About S. C. Versillee

Versillee has long had a love for writing and great story telling and is drawn to dramatically portraying dynamic characters that challenge the viewer. She enjoys working closely with clients to help bring their visions into a tangible form. As a writer, she often draws on her own short stories to create her fine art paintings, she feels this background gives her a great advantage when doing character portraiture.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Versillee has been able to merge these two disciplines to aid her in researching subjects for her paintings and in honing her skills as a craftswoman. Besides painting, Versillee has a background in jewelry design, graphic design and digital art and has most recently begun learning Zbrush, a 3d sculpting program, which she plans to use to create virtual artist models.
